It is the final position of the famous game known as "The Immortal", played on 21 June 1851 between Anderssen (white) and Kieseritzky (black). The latter lost only 4 pawns, while white: 3 pawns, a bishop, both towers and the Queen, but still managed to win in a very elegant way.
